BYD Vizion VIP Event Brings Insurers Together to Explore the Future of Connected Repair

Vizion Network welcomed motor insurers, industry partners, repair specialists and senior representatives from BYD to a dedicated BYD Accident Assist VIP event, created to showcase the future of connected accident management.

BYD Accident Assist VIP Event Brings Insurers Together to Explore the Future of Connected Repair

Set within a private 450-acre nature reserve, the event brought together key stakeholders to explore the future of connected accident management and the support being built around BYD's growing UK presence.

The day focused on BYD Accident Assist, powered by Vizion, and how the proposition will help customers, insurers and repairers through a clearer, more connected repair journey following an accident.

As BYD continues to grow, the repair experience behind the brand needs to scale with the same pace and confidence. Customers need reassurance, insurers need visibility, and repairers need the right systems, standards and support to deliver safe and consistent outcomes.

Powered by Vizion systems and network capability, BYD Accident Assist is designed to connect customers with the right repair support while giving insurers, repairers and operational teams greater visibility throughout the process.

Guests heard from senior leaders across Vizion and BYD, including Chris McKie, Steve Beattie, Ritz Pisano, Gary Found, Tony Young and Derrick Yang. Senior members of BYD's UK and European management teams were also in attendance, reinforcing the importance of collaboration as the brand continues to expand.

The event also gave guests the opportunity to view and discuss BYD models, battery technology and new vehicle developments, including Denza ahead of its UK launch activity.

Supporting the proposition is a 160-strong BYD UK Repair Network, developed with Vizion to provide approved repair capability across the UK. The network is being built around data-led standards, technical understanding, sustainability, total loss avoidance and practical repair cost control.

For Vizion and BYD, the event was more than a showcase. It demonstrated how connected systems, insurer engagement, repairer capability and technical support can come together to protect the customer journey, vehicle value and BYD brand integrity.

With BYD's UK growth continuing at pace, BYD Accident Assist, powered by Vizion, is helping create a repair ecosystem that is connected, scalable and ready for the future.

"BYD is a brand with huge momentum, and our role at Vizion is to make sure the accident repair experience is ready to support that growth from day one. BYD Accident Assist is about bringing the right people, systems and repair capability together, so customers are supported properly, insurers have confidence in the process, and repairers have the tools, standards and visibility they need to deliver safe, consistent and efficient outcomes. This event was a great opportunity to show how connected accident management can work in practice, and how collaboration across the whole repair ecosystem will help protect the customer, the vehicle and the BYD brand."
